PANews reported on 21 June that Christine Kim, Vice-President of Galaxy Research, shared the main content of an EIP discussion session with the Ether Core Developer (ACDE), who shared their progress in implementing various code changes, including the Ether Development Proposal (EIP) 7251 and 7702, as well as the Taiyo Virtual Object Format (EOF) and PeerDAS. Tim Beiko also shared a template for an EIP discussion series, while the EF Developer Engineer, Parish Jayanthi, highlighted a new GitHub page called "eth-clients," which provided a configuration of the Tai Taibo main network and test web. Finally, Beiko reminded the team that the next ACDE telephone conference would take place on 4 July of the United States holiday.

The developers first discussed Pectra Devnet 1 at the meeting. Their goal was to issue the next dedicated test network for the Pectra upgrade in the coming week. The main changes between the previous test network Devnet 0 and the upcoming test network were: to increase the number of El-initiated testers and to replace EIP 3074 with EIP 7702. When the client team shared the update, an developer asked whether EOF’s implementation would be excluded from Devnet 1. Beiko confirmed that EOF would not be tested on Devnet 1, and that the EOF’s implementation should be based on the latest Pectra regulation, rather than on the final Deneb rule.

With regard to the EIP 7702 update, although the developer is implementing EIP 7702 on Devnet 1, the code change may still be substantially modified to support the new functionality, especially to remove the ability of the user to launch the EIP 7702 transaction authorization. The project team believes that the EIP 7702 design is an important issue and recommends that the developers organize further discussions to achieve a common understanding. With regard to the EOF update, the Busa team is producing more EOF tests after the Pectra code changes and the ELF client team is preparing for the EOF at GitHub.
