The new consensus mechanism at
ETH1.0时期,为了规避因PoW(Proof-of-Work)共识机制下带来的分叉风险,降低挖矿等活动消耗的燃料费(Gas Fee),提高ETH主网交易的效率,ETH社区计划将原有的PoW机制改成CPoS(Casper Proof-of-Stake),也就是ETH 2.0模式。
During the ETH1.0 period, in order to avoid the risk of fork in the PoW (Proof-of-Work) consensus mechanism, to reduce the cost of fuel consumed by activities such as mining (Gas Fee) and to improve the efficiency of the ETH main network transactions, the ETH community plans to change the original PoW mechanism to CCPOS (Casper Proof-of-Stake), the ETH 2.0 model.
工作量证明机制(Proof-of-Work, PoW)的本质是矿工利用自己的算力资源进行挖矿,矿池则是通过组织矿工的算力来进行挖矿,不论是个体矿工还是矿池,谁拥有的算力越多,挖矿成功的打包概率就越高。 ETH 1.0在PoW的共识机制下,不仅仅耗费大量的电力资源和燃料费,而且容易发生分叉。
The essence of the workload proof mechanism (Proof-of-Work, PoW) is that miners dig with their own arithmetic resources, and the ponds dig by organizing miners’ arithmetic, be it artisanal miners or pits, and the more likely it is that a mine can be packed successfully. Under the PoW’s consensus mechanism, ETH 1.0 is not only costly in terms of electricity and fuel, but also prone to fragmentation.
而CPoS共识机制下的ETH 2.0模式中,ETH将不再需要挖矿的过程。新交易区块的验证和确认将由区块验证器来完成,区块验证器将根据其矿工持股比例进行选择。谁质押的股权比例越高,挖矿成功的概率就越大。毫无疑问,ETH 2.0大大降低了挖矿的进入壁垒,并且有效减少了资源的浪费。
In the ETH 2.0 model of the CPS Consensus, the ETH will no longer be required to dig. The validation and confirmation of the new trading blocks will be done by the block certifier, which will be selected according to the share ratio of the miners. The higher the stake, the higher the chances of success. there is no doubt that ETH 2.0 significantly reduces the barriers to mining and effectively reduces the waste of resources.
