Decentralization transactions are not only expensive but slow (e.g., the fee of $5 per bitcoin transaction for transfer confirmation for up to one hour), which cannot be applied on a large scale.

Payment corridors are a mechanism introduced by the Flash Network for instantaneous, chain-based digital asset transactions. Indeed, the two digital assets are converted through “ atomic swaps & rdquo; and, in the Exchange Union, atomic swaps occur directly in payment corridors. In the Exchange Union, payment corridors use a slightly modified HTLCs. In a simple way, a true bitcoin in BTC/LTC transactions can only be broadcast in BTC and LTC payment corridors, ensuring efficiency and centralization of the system.
